Providing Relief for Patients with Depression

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), 14–17% of the adult population will experience a condition called Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), also known as “clinical depression,” during their lifetime. MDD is usually treated with talk therapy and/or medication; however, a key clinical study shows that over 40% of these patients might not respond to medication as they suffer from a condition called Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD). These patients need to seek an alternative treatment for their symptoms.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is an alternative treatment for MDD that has been shown to be safe and effective for those with TRD.

What Sets Us Apart In Treating Patients With Treatment-Resistant Depression

Blue Mountain TMS provides psychiatric services, including prescribing and monitoring medication for patients with MDD. We are also Montana’s premier provider of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for patients with TRD. Sometimes patients with TRD will benefit from a combination of medication and TMS, and our experts will work with patients to find the right combination to relieve their depression.
